Carbon dioxide (CO2) is by far the largest contributor to global warming, and freight transportation in the U.S. alone emits 350 million metric tons per year - that's more than the gross weight of 10,500 fully loaded tractor-trailers.

Aero Green is an opt-in program by Aero Logistics that offers our customers the opportunity to make their shipments carbon neutral by supporting investments that reduce greenhouse gas emissions. We do this through the purchase of Verified Emission Reductions (VERs), more commonly known as Carbon Offsets, which support additional emissions reductions from such projects as agricultural methane capture, forest preservation or wind farm development.

	Calculation of real emissions: We use real data from your shipments to compute the amount of carbon dioxide emitted. Our proprietary calculator includes the weight, distance, and mode of transport for each shipment, not just a rough approximation.
	Offset credibility: After researching numerous partner options, we chose to work with 3Degrees, whose third-party verified offsets are audited against best-in-class, publicly available standards. By partnering with one of the most experienced companies in the industry you can be guaranteed that your offsets are of the highest possible quality.
	Project transparency: We carefully chose which emissions reductions projects to support- meaning that you will know exactly where your money is going.
	Monthly reporting: Participants will receive monthly reports of total carbon dioxide emitted, and offset reductions allocated.
	Recognition: Shippers purchasing Aero Green offsets will receive certificates verifying their participation and offset levels, as well as the right to use the Aero Green "Clean Shipper" seal on websites and marketing materials.

Enrolling in the Aero Green program is easy to do. We will work with you to understand your carbon emissions data and offset up to 100% of your freight's carbon footprint. For every ton of carbon dioxide produced, another ton will be offset elsewhere - that's the Aero Green guarantee.

Shippers who offset a majority of their freight-related emissions will be recognized as "Aero Green Clean Shippers" and are authorized to display our Clean Shipper seal on their website and marketing materials.
